Earlier this week we posted about ChevronWP7’s tool to unlock WP7 devices. It seems Microsoft has decided to go against the grain from other manufacturers and is willing to work with ChevronWP7 on a joint homebrew opportunity. In a sign of good faith they have pulled the unlock tool. To further show off their talents the have released a custom ringtone manager.
This is an interesting road to take for the Redmond company but will they play nice with the next developer that ups the ante?
