The popular video service Skype announced they are in the process of acquiring Qik. Qik was made popular as being a mobile video capture and streaming service available on numerous platforms. Even though Skype recently released a mobile video service for iOS I am assuming with this acquisition we can expect mobile versions on virtually all platforms.
