It seems Google is in the testing phase of opening up Google Voice to port your own mobile number into Skynet’s their system, for the low price of $20. This is potentially huge and you could potentially keep you mobile number forever through the cloud. If you don’t know what Google voice is check out their site for more info. Basically it’s a great service in which you can have one number ring to any phone number or numerous phone numbers. Google also includes call screening and a number of other features. Engadget is reporting that they have pulled this feature for now so we can expect to see more hopefully soon. Where you one of the lucky ones to jump on this?
