PC World has some fun quotes from Jen-Hsun Huang, CEO of Nvidia, saying that:
“The good news is that we finally have an operating system to unite behind. Android is an operating system that has gained a tremendous amount of momentum all over the world,”
He also goes on to say that the OS still needs some work before it’s complete competitive with something like the iPad but give it till fall and you’ll start seeing the hardware and the software come together. Now will they be able to destroy the monster iPad with a monster Android device? I doubt it. However, just like the phone market, iPad is going to have to put up with the fact there will be a million different devices all running Android on them and that has proven to be a formidable force against the iPhone. Personally I haven’t been sold on the whole idea of a tablet yet, I still stick to my smart phone and laptop combo and have yet to find a good reason to have a step between.
I’ll leave you with this quick video hands on of the new Dell Streak from SlashGear.
