Google recently announced that they are releasing Google Goggles 1.3. The newer version is smarter and supposed to run faster. This latest version will not only read bar codes and give you search results faster but will also recognize print advertising as well.
In addition to recognizing landmarks, barcodes, and print ads Google wanted to really show off. Check out the below video where they use a Nexus S with Google Goggles to solve a Sodoku puzzle. Pretty cool stuff. I wonder what else they have up their sleeves for the next act.
